Christmas

Sorry kids I've been pretty rubbish with the camera throughout December this year - it's safe to say its been a jam packed month! 

Joe starred as a racing car in the school Christmas play! 

With your buddies! 

We went to see Father Christmas! 

Lots of presents at momos! 

Followed by a yummy lunch! 

We went ice skating on Xmas eve! Missy you were so confident, the same cant be said for me or your brother!!! FYI I only fell over once! 

Clever Santa made an early stop and dropped off some new onesies! 

And left us a lovely note - he's so polite ;) 

The fur coat present on Xmas day was a big hit!

As were the tickets to the strictly live show!!!

Sorry big boy I don't appear to have any photos of you opening your presents (bad mummy) but you got a lot of Lego and a light up globe amongst many other things!!

We spent Christmas Day at home (mainly  eating it has to be said) and watching tv. big hits for me & missy were Call the Midwife, Gangsta Granny and Paul O'Grady for the Love of Dogs! 

When we go away with Helen and James I promise to take more photos!

Girls on Tour!

Last weekend my lovely friend Linda and I took the girls away to Devon for the weekend. It was one of those '£9.50' Sun holiday breaks and, after a disastrous similar holiday a few years ago, I was a little dubious but I needn't have been - we had a fab time! 

We went to Sandy Bay in Exmouth and I was really impressed. A Starbucks, a big entertainment complex, spa, swimming pool, kids club, well stocked (& v.reasonsbly priced) shop, sea views, 10 minute walk to the beach - everything you could possibly want & need! 

We had a really lovely couple of days and aside from the Saturday evening where Lauren and I had 'words' (what is it with 8 year old girls and 'attitude' ??? Gahhhh) a fab time was had by all!

We didn't even need to get in with them - the deepest end was only 1.2m and with both girls being confident swimmers Linda & I were quite content to sit in the side with our Starbucks & some trashy mags!

We went to the beach & only got caught in 1 rain storm! 

Pamper afternoon - nails & hair whilst watching Beaches & Grease on DVD!

Then Sarurday night we hit the entertainment! Bingo the kids could join in with & Lauren even got picked to go on the stage to take part in a game! 

Then back to the caravan to snuggle under our sleeping bags & watch x-factor...oh and Linda and I had fun with my vine app!! 

All in all a fab weekend - more please next year Mrs! Xxxx

Bruno Hits Birmingham!

Dear Bruno

Thank you coming to visit Birmingham with your incredible band and sing some of your amazing songs.

Oh Bruno you were everything I hoped for and more....

I didnt realise quite how talented you are - not only is your voice impeccable you play the guitar, the drums and the piano you write utterly fabulous songs, you can dance (those hips....swoon) and you have a face that makes me want to stare at it all day long.

I know you're only 5ft 5 (and therefore just a touch on the short side for my 5ft 8 frame) oh and quite possibly gay but you've made 2 ladies very happy this weekend. Thank you. 

Plus I got to eat a, quite frankly, delicious garlic pretzel. Yum.

Thanks Bruno. And if the rumours turn out not to be true give me a shout, I'm sure Mr C wouldn't mind (now you're in top 5 list).
