Holiday Part 2 Kenting

So what did we do whilst we were there? Well, we had a lovely 'mini-break' down to Kenting which is in the South of the Island and right on the coast. It was a long journey - 2 hours on the high speed rail and then a 2 hour coach journey but it was worth it! 

Tired out! 

Again, another 5* hotel and lots of lazy days by the pool!

 

Swimming caps were compulsory in this pool!!!

 

 

 

 

We enjoyed time on the beach (although I think the beaches in Wales are nicer, ssshhh!)

Holiday part 1 - The hotel & the city

It's been a long time coming (956 photos to edit - that takes some time y'know?!) but finally I can start publishing my posts on our fabulous family holiday to Taiwan! 

 The Hotel 

 We stayed at the amazing W Hotel in Taiwan and this, for me, was one of the highlights of the whole holiday - utter 5* luxury. I have never stayed anywhere so a) swish and b) hip. The location, the bar, the staff, the lifts, the room (oh the room) the view, the beds, the TV, the bath, the shower, the toiletries, the room service, the decor. Take me back....

Bliss toiletries. I totally stole them every day and came home with enough travel size goodies to see me through my next 10 holidays ;-)

These beds were so darn comfy - comfiest I've ever slept in.

Now the loo almost got a whole post of it own. When you see the flush you'll realise why.

Yes, this is the flush!! I'd also like to add that when you entered the toilet the lid automatically lifted and then flushed (all before you sat down) and then when you did sit it was on to a heated seat! If you chose not to use the rather complicated flush you just stood up and it flushed automatically! See, told you it was swish! 

Inside the hotel - I couldn't really capture just how lush it was! 

And finally this little feast was room service! Nom nom nom! 

The City. 

Busy and hot but very green. Crazy roads and driving made for hellish car journeys for me! Some great people watching though!
